The MycoSHENTEK® Mycoplasma orale DNA Standard (1×108 copies/μL) consists of highly purified genomic DNA derived from mycoplasma species, which can be used as positive controls for PCR-based assays or for the construction of qPCR standard curves in qPCR applications. These standards are commonly used to determine the concentration of unknown DNA with high accuracy. As the product contains only purified genomic DNA and no viable organisms, and presents no risk of infection.
